Biography
Dr. Dmitriy A. Dikin is an Research Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and the Manager of the College of Engineering Nano Instrumentation Center (CoE NIC) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Temple University, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Northwestern University. Dr. Dikin has 25+ years of experience to work across different fields of physics, mechanics, material science, chemistry, and biology and has more than 80 peer-reviewed papers. He is one of the most cited researchers in the field of graphene nanomaterials. His recent research interest is primarily focused on carbon-based nanostructures for development of novel electronic and composite materials. He also works on new microscopy methods for integrated studies of nanomaterials. Dr. Dikin is a consultant for several hi-tech companies. Beside scientific activity Dikin also devotes his time to popularization of physics and attracting young people to science and engineering.
