Biography

Ellen Muchnok, PT, DPT, ATP is an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Physical Therapy at Temple University. She earned her BS and DPT degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Ellen has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation and outpatient seating and mobility. She received the ATP certification through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America to further enhance her skill in the provision of assistive technology. Dr. Muchnok’s teaching responsibilities include the neuromuscular management course series, the clinical examination and intervention skills course series, management of medically complex patients, and assistive technologies.
