Biography
Dr. Kimberly Pachik brings over two decades of clinical experience in occupational therapy, with a strong foundation in urban acute care and hand therapy settings. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to advancing student development and bridging the gap between classroom learning and clinical practice.
Dr. Pachik has held roles as a Fieldwork Coordinator in both clinical and academic environments, demonstrating her commitment to preparing students for professional success. She currently serves as Associate Professor of Instruction in the Occupational Therapy Program at Temple University and the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies in the Barnett College of Public Health.
She earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from Chatham University, where her capstone project explored millennial students and professional behaviors in academic and clinical contexts. Her scholarly interests include professional behavior development, generational learning preferences (particularly among Generation Y and Z), and holistic admissions practices. She has shared her expertise through presentations at local, regional, and national conferences.
More recently, Dr. Pachik has turned her attention to global engagement through international service learning initiatives, aligning her work with a broader vision of cultural competence and inclusive education.
