Biography
Paige Pastalove, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, is a clinical audiologist and assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been a practicing audiologist for the past 18 years working with both adults and children.
Dr. Pastalove received her doctorate of audiology from West Virginia University in 2007 and holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and the American Auditory Society.
Dr. Pastalove joins the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders after nine years in the Department of Otolaryngology at Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine as a clinical assistant professor, at which time she was also the director of the Section of Audiology and assistant director of the Temple Head and Neck Institute. She was also the creator and lead preceptor of the audiology internship program, outplacement program and the observation and shadowing programs.
Dr. Pastalove teaches both undergraduate and graduate level classes within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She acts as both an advisor and clinical supervisor for the MA program; as well as a mentor for students in the undergraduate program interested in pursuing audiology as a career.
