Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate

Lay the groundwork for a successful career in the real estate industry with the Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of real estate transactions as well as investments and property management. You will develop competency around diverse subjects, including

  • appraisal and valuation,
  • asset and risk assessment,
  • brokerage and marketing, and
  • market analysis.

The Real Estate BBA immerses you in the complexities of buying, investing in, managing and selling commercial and residential real estate. Learn both the dynamics of the real estate market and the legal framework encompassing land and property transactions. Through this bachelor’s program, you will gain the expertise needed to navigate the laws and regulations surrounding land use, property rights, title ownership and transfers, and urban development.

Located in North Philadelphia, Temple University’s Main Campus offers students easy access to public transportation, allowing you to explore the city’s many diverse neighborhoods. You may also pursue internship or employment opportunities within Philadelphia’s thriving real estate market.

Classes & Curriculum

Coursework in the 124-credit Real Estate Major program explores all aspects of real estate business practices, with an emphasis on financial models and analysis.

All classes can be completed at Temple University’s Main Campus. Courses offered under this major include

Tuition & Fees

In keeping with Temple’s commitment to access and affordability, the Bachelor of Business Administration offers a competitive level of tuition with multiple opportunities for financial support.

Tuition rates are set annually by the university and are affected by multiple factors, including program degree level (undergraduate or graduate), course load (full- or part-time), in-state or out-of-state residency, and more. You can view the full Cost of Attendance breakdown on the Student Financial Services website.

These tuition costs apply to the 2025–2026 academic year.

The Temple Real Estate Organization was formed to encourage strong professional interface among all of the disciplines which relate to real estate. It provides an opportunity for Fox students to come together in fellowship to discuss, debate and perhaps solve dilemmas involving use of land resources.

Global Immersions

Broaden your understanding of global economies and business practices by taking advantage of the various study abroad options and opportunities for learning beyond Temple’s Main Campus in Philadelphia through Global Immersion Programs.

Temple administers several programs around the world, including campus sites in Rome, Japan and Spain, faculty-led summer programs and exchange programs in Europe and Asia. Interested students may also participate in approved programs organized by study abroad organizations or other U.S. universities, or apply directly to an accredited institution overseas. Temple’s Education Abroad office provides information on approved programs, and advisors can work with you to determine which program might provide the best fit.
